Founder Akira Nakakoji establishes Kaga Electric and begins manufacturing automatic control panels.
1980
Factory established in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture.
1983
Daiichi Denshi Inc. established.
1984
Opened a machinery factory in Kumiyama-cho, Kuze-gun, Kyoto Prefecture.
Expanded technical capabilities into both electrical and mechanical fields.
1990
Relocated to Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City. Consolidated the electrical and mechanical divisions under one headquarters.
1993
Relocated to Yodomizutari-cho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City (Current location)
2005
Toru Nakakoji (Current President) appointed as President.
2012
Began manufacturing and sales of the NOVO MARKⅡ, a visually captivating coffee roaster.
2016
Opened the Tokyo Branch in Ginza as an eastern sales and research base.
2017
Relocated the Tokyo Branch to Shibuya.
2018
Obtained Canadian UL & CEcertification of NOVO MARKⅡ.
2020
Obtained Canadian cUL certification; installed two units in a Vancouver café.
Commenced manufacturing and sales of the new roaster “α NOVO”. Received the Good Design Award.
Launched the original apparel brand “Roast Right Now!!”.
2021
Established the Hakata Showroom in Tenjin, Fukuoka. (Current location) Serves as a PR base for Kyushu.
2022
Signed a cooperation agreement with Miyake Town, Nara Prefecture. Provided technical support for roasting the town's specialty, golden sesame seeds, using the NOVO MARKⅡ -sesame custom-.
Renovated Kyoto headquarters & showroom.
2023
Launched original brand “Drip Right Now!!”.
2024
Established a showroom in Paris as a European sales base.Exhibited at Japan Expo Paris.
2025
